RETURN POLICY

  • Once service commences and the first attempt to serve your defendant has been made, there will be no refunds. Our payment structure is calculated for gas, logistics, driving, and time. Included in the fee for service is the 67 cents per mile for business use to and from the Defendants location. In most cases, the mileage is covered for 3 attempts. 
  • The Client is responsible for providing the correct address.
  • There are no refunds for an incorrect address or incorrect information about the Defendants’ availability to be served. All information for service is predicated on the Client. Extra is charged for Constable Court Services to take on the responsibility of finding and locating the Defendant(s). current address. 
  • The customer or client is 100% responsible for providing an accurate address for the Process Servers to use in his/her attempts at service. Incorrect addresses is a delay in your service request. Standard service is 5 to 7 business days, but may stretch to the expiration day of the document. The courts dictate the life of the document , and it is the plaintiffs responsibility to expedite service to meet the expirate date.
  • Proper execution is predicated on accuracy of the information provided and the availability of the Defendant being present.
  • Constable Court Services will not refund for papers that became expired in our possesion. The law requires the court server to make 3 good fair attempts at service. Once the attempts are made, the fee structure starts over and payment is due again. There will be no refunds for service that takes over the stated 5 to 7 days. The courts give the process server between 28 to 180 days in some jurisdictions to execute service. Courts understand the complexities encountered by servers and allow documents to be re-issued if the time taken becomes extended.
